Mojo Monkey was chosen as Minnesota's best for Food Network's 50 States of Donuts |
That being said, we aren't afraid to brag a little bit when we are recognized for our hard work. (We know, it's not like us as Minnesotans to brag).
Recently, it was brought to our attention that a little outfit out of New York City, called the Food Network, which also has some offices in Atlanta, Los
Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit, Jersey City, Cincinnati, and
Knoxville, Tennessee had named us to their best donuts (they spell it doughnuts) in America list.
This was humbling recognition and made us blush a little bit. As just a little shop on West 7th, we aren't accustomed to national recognition.
If you don't have time to click through and find us, we'll save you a little time with their write up here:
"Mango-Glazed Doughnut at Mojo Monkey Donuts: Minnesota
The exotic flavors of this mango-glazed doughnut are one example of Owner Lisa Clark’s mission to make amazing raised doughnuts (assisted by her pastry-enthused children). Mojo Monkey Donuts’ signature yeast dough (crafted with locally brewed beer, yams and parsnips) is made into a ring, then topped with organic mango glaze and unsweetened coconut for a tropically inspired treat."
If you do want to page through the list we're page 32 and surrounded by some pretty incredible looking donut shops from across the country.
Thanks for allowing us to brag a little bit. And thanks for your support of Mojo Monkey Donuts.
